Our Initiatives
Although the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from hosting in-person events, it did not diminish our enthusiasm or commitment to promoting Indian arts and literature. Guided by our mission and vision, we swiftly adapted by launching a comprehensive online event calendar in April 2020. During this period, we organized over 150 online events and even curated a digital art exhibition. We also hosted several significant special events, including Rang Tarang, a three-day cultural festival, a series of events celebrating Hindi Divas, and an enlightening conversation with the legendary Sonal Mansingh, which delved into the profound connections between art, literature, and culture in India.
Sounds of Soul
Sounds of Soul is Samanvay’s dedicated platform for music recitals and concerts, featuring a diverse range of vocal and instrumental performances. We highlight world-class Indian talents across various musical genres while also providing support and opportunities for local and emerging artists. By bringing together traditional and contemporary sounds, Sounds of Soul aims to create a rich and immersive musical experience. Our goal is to inspire, educate, and connect communities through the universal language of music."​​​​
Poetry without Borders
Poetry without Borders is Samanvay's dedicated platform for events that celebrate poetry and the literary arts. We aim to explore various themes, genres, canons, and literary traditions. By inviting poets, writers, and performers from diverse genres, generations, and languages, we create a space for sharing and celebrating the richness of literary expression. Our events foster meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange, connecting audiences with the transformative power of words. Through these gatherings, we seek to inspire a deeper appreciation for the art of poetry and its ability to transcend boundaries.

Youth Forum
Samanvay Youth Forum is Samanvay’s platform designed to connect, collaborate, and inspire young creatives. It provides a space for young writers, artists, and cultural activists to showcase their talents, share their art, and express their views. Through open mics, we offer emerging artists the opportunity to present their work, while our workshops provide valuable learning experiences. Additionally, we curate events that highlight the incredible talents of young individuals, fostering a vibrant community of the next generation of cultural leaders.
Streams of Rasas
"Streams of Rasas" is a platform dedicated to celebrating the rich tapestry of emotions and aesthetics in Indian arts. By showcasing a diverse array of performances, including dance, theater, and storytelling, it aims to immerse audiences in the myriad 'rasas' or emotional flavors that define Indian cultural expression. This initiative not only honors traditional art forms but also encourages contemporary interpretations, providing a space for both established and emerging artists to connect with the audience on a profound emotional level.
Art: A Perspective
Art - A Perspective is Samanvay’s platform for talk-based events, where we invite scholars, experts, artists, and authors to share their insights on topics related to Indian arts and literature. These events are designed to inform and educate audiences, offering a deeper understanding of various aspects of Indian cultural expressions. By facilitating these discussions, we aim to enrich the appreciation and knowledge of Indian arts and literatures. Our goal is to create a space for intellectual exchange and dialogue, encouraging participants to engage with new ideas and perspectives.
